More recently we have joined Native Plants Queensland and are now known as Native Plants Queensland – Toowoomba Region. Projects
Local InterestPeacehaven Botanic Garden – Family friendly garden providing picnic, BBQ and playground equipment. The gardens and lawns are maintained by Toowoomba Regional Council and supported by volunteers from the group Friends of Peacehaven. Crows Nest Community Nursery – The native plant nursery is supported by Toowoomba Regional Council and is run by volunteers. The nursery grows Native Plants from the local region and sells to the public. Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers – Held annually in September and attracts people from many parts of Australia and overseas.
