Our Journal

The Native Plants Queensland Journal is a full-colour quarterly print publication sent to members. It features original informative articles and details of our activities.

Special Interest Study Groups

Study groups are set up through our national association, the Australian Native Plants Society (Australia) (ANPSA). Each group focuses on a particular aspect of native plants (usually a genus or a related group of genera), enabling members to develop their special interest and to contribute in a practical way to the body of knowledge on Australian flora.

Queensland Herbarium

The Queensland Herbarium is the centre for research and information on Queensland ecosystems, plants, fungi and algae. The Queensland Herbarium building at Toowong houses the state’s plant specimen collection of more than 830,000 specimens, representing Queensland’s native and naturalised plant species and 150 years of species discovery.

Australian Flora Foundation

The Australian Flora Foundation fosters research into the biology and cultivation of Australian plants by funding research projects, giving prizes for research, organising seminars, publishing research findings and more.
